Key Computers has a long established reputation for providing IT services across a variety of market sectors. Key was established in 1984, when Jim Heaton spotted a gap in the market for a piece of software that enabled a service company to easily manage its stock, contract agreements, accounts and scheduling. Initially we pioneered service management software for the material handling industry, but as the business has developed we now support a wide range of market sectors and have continued to innovate ensuring we are at the forefront of technological advances. We have grown to currently have several hundred customers across a broad range of market sectors including accountants, solicitors, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. We have offices in Greater Manchester, Southampton and Bangalore ensuring we can fully service client needs to the highest of standards.

 

Key computers is a family run business, Jim Heaton, the founder, is still a Director of the company which is now managed by his son Jonathan Heaton, CEO. This has ensured that Key’s core values are instilled throughout the company, ensuring that we work proactively with our clients to make certain that your IT works for you.

 

Our highly skilled technicians develop all of our software in house and our solutions are designed with our customers in mind, ensuring each one is easy to use, saving our customers both time and money. In addition to this our solutions enable businesses to increase efficiency resulting in our customers achieving higher productivity and sales.
